Meet Genay

I’m Genay — gardener, event planner, and the hands and heart behind Gee Rose. Rooted in Vermont, I help people celebrate love and life through thoughtful garden design and naturally beautiful events. Whether I’m planting a pollinator garden or curating a wedding under the trees, everything I do is grounded in care, creativity, and connection to the land.

About Genay

  • We hired Genay as our Wedding Day-of Coordinator through a connection with our catering team at Woodbelly Pizza. Although we planned every detail of our wedding ourselves, It was important to us to be able to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about a single detail. From our initial conversation with Genay, it was evident that she was someone we could trust and who had the experience we were looking for. That being said, our expectations were vastly exceeded by the work she did throughout the last few weeks leading into the wedding, including our wedding rehearsal the day prior, and of course, the big day itself. Our wedding was powered by the labor of our loved ones, who worked very closely with Genay to make it possible for us as a couple to celebrate and be present. Genay is very personable, down to earth, and earned our trust very quickly. She is a great problem-solver and adept at navigating complex social dynamics. She took on final communication with our vendors for the days leading up to our wedding which was a huge help for us. We appreciated Genay's quick instincts and her ability to balance a lot of moving parts. All of our goals for our wedding weekend were achieved (and even some unexpected challenges were addressed with decisiveness and good humor!) and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help executing their wedding.
